1. Preparation

Investigation 1LIKVOR CELDA® SYSTEM is turned on. The sterile tube set is mounted and tubes are filled with buffer. Patient information is added to program.
Patient is marked at the area for LP. LP is performed.

 

2. Connection

Investigation 2Tubes are connected to the LP needles. The bed is made horizontal. LIKVOR CELDA® SYSTEM and the patient is leveled using the built-in laser. A relevant protocol is chosen.

 

 

3. Investigation running

Investigation 3The patient is resting. LIKVOR CELDA® SYSTEM is automatically and safely performing the programmed protocol. A responsible person is monitoring the investigation.

 

 

4. Finishing

Investigation 4LIKVOR CELDA® SYSTEM automatically ends the protocol. When finishing an instant tap test can be performed. The ICP can be controlled to determine the likvor turnover rate. Tubes and needles are removed and the patient can return to clinic. The report from the investigation can be saved on the LIKVOR USB MEMORY STICK. When stored on the memory stick, the report could easily be analyzed or printed out from any other computer.
