There is a disease called NPH, Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus, which is easily misdiagnosed as dementia, Parkinson’s or Alzheimer’s. NPH can be treated by inserting a shunt and is therefore called “treatable dementia”. The Likvor CELDA® System measures the dynamics of the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) system and the results is used to diagnose NPH, as well as for investigating shunt function.
